The new 2nd edition of my MySQL Crash Course was just released. This book is a spin-off title based on my best-selling Sams Teach Yourself SQL in 10 minutes. I originally wrote this book at the request of readers (and educators) who liked the SQL book but wanted one that could go deeper into MySQL without needing to be as DBMS agnostic.
That original title covered MySQL 4.x and 5 and was exceedingly popular (especially the translated versions). With MySQL 8 now released and in use, it was time to update the title. You can find all the details on the book web page.
