DesignTechnica is reporting that “Ericsson has joined the WiMAX Forum as a principal member. Earlier in the year Ericsson announced it would stop supporting Bluetooth.” Ah, just think of the devices we’ll be lusting after in a year or so.

Well i guess it makes sense why my new z500a that i picked up from Cingular to my suprise didn’t have bluetooth… I didn’t even think of checking since Ericsson has pretty much always included bluetooth.
BTW, great phone if you can get over the non blue tooth issue… I’ll give it 30 days and see if i’ll return it. -
I wonder which car will be equipped with WiMAX first. What would really be awesome is "In-Dash Flash". That’s be pretty cool having a Flash based console in my TSX that allowed me to surf the net, get my stock quotes, etc, etc,. It might be somewhat of a distraction but they said the same thing about the radio when it was first introduced in cars.
