PC Magazine has a review of the new Motorola RAZR V3 at http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1712386,00.asp. The reviewer likes the device, but states “Software-wise, the RAZR is basically a Motorola V505, which is a pretty good thing”. Pretty good thing? I beg to differ, and if it really is the same old lousy software (as many suspected) I am going to have to pass. Shame.
ben, are you talkin’ software in the unit itself? or software for your pc to connect to the unit?

Software on the device itself, the UI, menus, options placement, all of that stuff.
is it really that bad. damn, that really blows. my wife and i were really looking forward to that phone :(***
i guess we will stay with our LGVX6000 the worst picture phone available …
maybe they need to make a flash interface for those motorola phones???

Well, I think it is awful, lots of others agree, but there are folks who like it. I guess you are going to have to try it for yourself.
My thoughts on it were blogged a while back: http://www.forta.com/blog/index.cfm?mode=e&entry=1326
