Yahoo's New (Google-like) Shortcuts

Yahoo has been slowly adding support for search shortcuts, similar to those popularized by Google. For example, type in an ISBN number to find book prices, type “patent” followed by a patent number to obtain details on any US patent, and enter an address to generate a map.
And now Yahoo has added six more search shortcuts, including: type the name of an airport followed by the word “airport” for the latest airport conditions, type the name of a city followed by the word “traffic” for traffic conditions, and the word “synonym” followed by any word to obtain Roget’s Thesaurus synonyms.
The full Yahoo Search Shortcut list is at http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/tips/tips-01.html.

Not to mention the interface at http://search.yahoo.com/. If the "tabs" were listed across the top instead of to the left, it would look almost exactly like Google! Guess Yahoo’s just trying to catch up at this point….
