This is not a new one, but … Need the definition of a word? Do a quick Google search in the form “define word”.

    I think it’s "define: lookup_word".

Vui, both define and define: work, although apparently the latter is better. Thanks.

I got this in an e-mail newsletter I subscribe to. it talks about how hackers can use google.
"Google is in many ways the most useful tool available to the bad guys, and the most dangerous Web site on the Internet for many, many thousands of individuals and organizations."

I’d been using this for a while, and got interested in exactly what Google was doing; looking at the results made it clear: It returns only results that are in an HTML Definition List!
So if you’re definining terms, and not using a DL, you’re losing out on an important search function.
For more information on the DL (and associated DT and DD) tag, see http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/struct/lists.html#h-10.3
