Apparently, Barnes and Noble has bought Google keyword sponsorship for my name. Any time someone enters my name as a search term, up comes B&N’s sponsored link. This is quite an honor, I think.

Is that legal? I wonder what would happen if you bought a sponsored link for Barnes & Noble.
It probably not ilegal – it’s unoffical endorcement – but certainly a wee bit sly.
dunno why it would be illegal…they’re not taking anything away from Ben. just buying advertising on Google. this way somebody doing a search on ‘Forta’ will get the results they would have gotten anyway, but also a ‘sponsored’ (purchased) link to B&N (presumably directly to one or more of Ben’s books).
agreed tho that it’s an honor. enjoy it Ben, you deserve it </@ss_kissing> 🙂
That is kind of cool! You are "the man" when it comes to all things CF – if they sell more of your books you make more bucks and more people learn about CF so everybody wins, right? ;-D
