The most amazing collection of ASCII art is online at http://www.romanm.ch/english/, and not just still images, the movie sequences are incredible. But after all the oohing and ahhing I could not decide what amazed me more, that someone would go through the effort to build all this content, or that anyone would create the software to make this level of detail doable. Either way, I am astounded.
