DBTYPE Deprecated Types

The DBTYPE attribute is used to specify the type of database driver to be used. In ColdFusion 4 and 5 this was used to specify that native drivers, for example, were to be used. ColdFusion MX uses JDBC drivers and so all DBTYPE types have been deprecated with the exception of DBTYPE=”query” (which is used for query of queries). (Applies to: ColdFusion MX)
