Using ColdFusion 5’s Alarms feature? Make sure to provide an SMTP server (DNS name or IP address) in the Alarms Notification Page. The standard SMTP server (specified in the Mail Settings page) is not used for alarms so as to allow you to use alternate server if needed. (Applies to: ColdFusion 5 Enterprise)
