I had the opportunity to play with an online time tracking application called Logware . The application, targeted at small businesses, is a hosted solution (for $9.99 a month) that can be used to track time spent on projects and then generate invoices that can be sent via e-mail. The front-end is...

I don't have details yet, but Macromedia U.K. is arranging a user group event in the U.K., and I'll use the opportunity to present Blackstone. Tentative date is February 15th. I have no more details beyond that, but I'll post them as soon as I do (as I will when other European venues are confirmed).

CNN/Money has a story on Macromedia and market reactions to earnings reports. But the line that caught my attention reads "Macromedia, the maker of such ubiquitous Web authoring tools as ColdFusion, DreamWeaver, and Flash ...". ColdFusion ubiquitous - I like the sound of that one. :-)

Oh, and he mentions that Blackstone is due to ship this quarter. In case you...

There's rough weather coming through Chicago again,...

I am sorry to report that I will not be attending MXDU in Sydney this year. I attended MXDU 2003, missed MXDU 2004 (my brother decided to get married in England that same week), and had planned on attending MXDU 2005. But it is not to be, I need to be in Europe that week for Blackstone related...

One of the areas in which Blackstone should (I won't say "will" until we ship as stuff could always change, so "should") make our lives considerably easier is form field validation. I mentioned input masking a few days ago, and validation enhancements a while back. Both of these should play an...

While in D.C. next week I'll get the chance to speak to the WAMMO user group , and will be talking about event gateways and SMS integration in Blackstone. This group is always well attended and highly interactive, the event should be fun. If you are in the area, please drop by! Details on the WAMMO...

Matt Woodward has posted a great introduction to object-oriented programming for ColdFusion programmers entitled What's an Object? .
