The Macromedia Q3 Report for Fiscal Year 2005 breeze presentation is online. ColdFusion customers will be pleased with slides 13 and 14, Rob points out a strong increase in subscription sales in anticipation of Blackstone. Oh, and he mentions that Blackstone is due to ship this quarter. In case you were wondering. :-)

Overall revenue grew $900,000 from $107.8M to $108.7M.
Server revenue (JRun, CF, Flex) remained flat at ~$13M.
Yet Flex Customers doubled in Q3.
Yet CF subscriptions grew.
So how could Server revenue be flat?
- Did JRun sales drop?
- Was Flex given away for free?
- Did regular CF licenses drop?

No Ben at MXDU 2005, no more release candidates for blackstone, 2005 is looking better already.

Honestly, I don't know how those numbers are compiled and what JRun or Flex did or did not do. But I do know that CF did very very well last quarter.
