I've been running all my sites and servers on Windows boxes for, well, since day one (make that CF1). About 3 months ago I brought a Linux box online (RedHat 8 running Apache 2.x), and somewhat nervously moved several of my lower volume sites (like http://www.cffaq.com/) over to it. Today marks 90...
Since September 9th 2000, I have been hosting a "ColdFusion Tip-of-the-Day" (in retrospect I probably should have been more realistic and named it the "CF Tip-of-Most-Days"). The tips (about a thousand of them) cover several versions of ColdFusion, as well as ColdFusion Studio and Dreamweaver too....
I am not a fan of applets (actually, I despise them), but I have found the one applet that almost justifies their creation. Anyone a former Infocom fan? How about a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fan? If you are both, you'll love this one - Infocom's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (circa 1984)...

CFFaq.com is now online in Turkish, bringing the number of live languages to twelve. Thanks to Bora Ünal for the translation. Visit http://www.cffaq.com/ to browse the FAQs, as well as to comment on questions and answers, or to suggest additional questions.
I spent the day in Washington, DC today (thank goodness for air conditioning!) meeting with various government agencies all of whom use ColdFusion. I love spending time with government agencies as they tend to be a microcosm of the real world - all sorts of developers with all sorts of needs and...
I have too many IM accounts (at least one on each of ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, and MSN). For a short time now (thanks to Jonathan Wall) I have been using Trillian (from http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/) as my integrated IM client, and it works really well (so well that I paid the $25 for the Pro copy within...
