Do you have (or have you used) a quad-band GSM phone? The only ones I have seen are the Motorola v400, Motorola v500, Motorola v600, the NEC 525, the Palm Treo 600, and the Sharp GX32. (It does not look like Nokia or Sony Ericsson have any to offer, even the new SE p910 comes in three different...

Picture a cell-phone, one that looks not all that different from the one you own, until you rotate the back of its body to display a keyboard (half the keys to the left of the device and half to the right). Confused? Check out the pics at...

I don't check bags when I fly, but if I did ... Bluebird is a Bluetooth luggage tag. Once paired, Bluebird will communicate with your phone as soon as it is in range (within 30 feet), sending a signal to the phone, and flashing brightly to get your attention. So, no standing at the carousel,...

Nokia has announced a Bluetooth keyboard (see http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,58982,00.html). Aside from the conflicting release dates (Q3/2004 on product page, Q4/2004 on FAQ page), reading between the lines gives one the sneaking suspicion that Nokia wants this keyboard only used with Nokia phones...

I've been using my GPRS modem all over the U.S. for several months now, with varying results (both as far as connection reliability and speed). And nowhere has it worked as well as it working today all over the greater Los Angeles area. I'd not (yet) recommend GPRS connections for the masses, but...

BMW and Apple have partnered so that you may "iPod Your BMW" (see http://www.ipodyourbmw.com/). Full pages ads in USA Today and elsewhere are heralding this marriage as "total driving control meets total tune control", and lots of folks are mega-excited over it. I may be missing something here, but...

ThinkOutside (the maker of the Stowaway keyboards used with many PDAs, see http://www.thinkoutside.com/) announced plans for a Bluetooth keyboard back in December 2003. And since then I have been waiting for the actual device. Well, it looks like the wait is over. The Mercury News is running a...

This one seems to be pushing it, but apparently the Bluetooth enabled washer and dryer will soon be available in Asia. I don't read Japanese, but the translation I have been given explains that Toshiba is releasing the appliances which communicate back to a home terminal or console via Bluetooth....

I don't know how this one slipped past me, but ... Sony has announced a 17" LCD monitor that receives video via Bluetooth (using a special USB adapter). I don't think I'll rush out and buy one (even if it were available in the US), but I do believe that this serves to show what Bluetooth is capable...

Want to print a photo taken on your cell phone? Need to quickly print from your PDA? This was a logical next step, so not a big surprise here, but ... the HP DeskJet 995c has built in Bluetooth support (see http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF05a/18972-236251-236261-14438-236261-45622.html)....
