Today, Adobe Flash provides the best platform for YouTube's video distribution requirements, which is why our primary video player is built with it.

Poor Steve. He just can't catch a break. And he convinced so many fanboys that HTML5 was the word of God, it may as well be called iHTML. Too bad reinventing the wheel requires you to create a better one first.
Hopefully this puts it to bed finally.

Its great to see YouTube recognize the benefits of using Flash over other technologies. Its not that HTML5 is bad, but the simple fact is Flash is better...
