I registered all my phone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry (http://donotcall.gov/) the 2nd day they were accepting registrations, I even received the automated e-mail confirmation messages. When I saw a note somewhere reminding that August 31st is the deadline for initial registrations I went to the site and used the "Verify a Registration" option, just to check. To my surprise I was not registered! I've just reregistered, received a new set of confirmations, and reverified, the numbers seem to be there this time. If you think you are registered, you may want to check again too.
