It's official, MAX 2004 will be November 1-4 in wonderful New Orleans. The MAX 2004 home page is http://www.macromedia.com/macromedia/events/max/, registration is not open yet, but there is an open call for topics and speakers.

really dumb questions, but i can't seem to locate the answers easily on the Macromedia site. Hope you can help me!
what does "MAX" stand for? How much was cost of registration for last year's conference in Salt Lake City, and would you recommend attending this conference (in NOLA) to real beginners?
