Yes, you read that correctly. I have a small ColdFusion app that I need help porting to several other languages (including Java, PHP, ASP.NET, C#, and Perl). This is not a big project, nor is it paid work (the best I can offer you is some recognition and publicity). If you, or someone you know, can help out let me know. Thanks.
Looking for Non-ColdFusion Developers

I could do it in C# in exchange for an interview at Macromedia...

Hi Ben,
Can you please email me the details? I might be able to port your little app to PHP.
Cheers,
Erwin

You can't afford to pay someone for their time? I'm willing to bet that you'll be profiting in some way from the application. Besides, how valuable is a footnote in your README.TXT, "Converted to PHP by Another Sucker." That's hardly publicity. Pony up and quit taking advantage of people for your own gains.

Hi Herman,
He is asking this as a friends favor, and so people who'd like to help Ben reply and help him as a friend.
You on the other hand, see it in the wrong way. Sure he might get some money from what we help him with, but I'm sure that whenever I need a script from PHP which is as big the one Ben comes with now, he will be glad to convert it for me to CF when he has the time. Its all about doing each other a favor, probably you don't have the ability to see that.

Ben, I've got your back on the .NET side. Let me know if you need my assistance.

I can help on asp.net in VB or C#.
Agree with Erwin, it is all about helping out each other. Is it a terrible thing for me to ask for help from a user-group if I will use the solution to overcome a coding challenge on a job? News to me.
