We just released a significant update to the Adobe ActionScript 3 SDK for Facebook Platform, making it even easier to build Facebook applications that combine the strengths of the Flash Platform. Developed by gskinner.com, this class library facilitates the development of Flash Platform applications that communicate with Facebook using the Graph API.

I noticed this a couple of days ago and gave it a try. It seems this really is a completely new API, as it is incompatible with previous versions of the API and requires significant changes to integrate into existing apps that leverage older versions.
Really, the API needs good, complete documentation. I’ve tried numerous times to contact the project owners and have never received a response. I appreciate the effort that Grant and others are putting into this, but open source means very little to the community when the community cannot contribute back to it.
