A reader just pointed out to me that my my Sams Teach Yourself SQL In 10 Minutes is in Amazon.com’s Top 10 lists in the databases, SQL, DBMSs, and databases categories. It’s also #1 in the Relational Databases category! Cool! 🙂

I guess those royalty cheques aren’t enough to make you realize that 😉
Yeah right 🙂
Congratulations Ben!
This was my first technology book purchase after I learned that I would begin working for Allaire ten years ago. I still refer to the advanced chapters as it sits on my desk rather than buried in the bookshelves.
I just bought it last night at Barnes and Noble as I am just learning SQL and need a quick reference book. However, I’m wondering if a more up to date version of this book has been released. My book is copyright 2004. If so, are there updates online somewhere?
If you have the 3rd edition, then you have the latest. There are newer editions of the books for MySQL and SQL Server (and others on the way), but this book has not been updated as it really has not needed it. There is however an errata on the book page at http://forta.com/books/0672325675/.
