Ray Camden Releases ColdFire ColdFusion Debugger

Home » Ray Camden Releases ColdFire ColdFusion Debugger

Firefox users love FireBug, a plug-in used to debug Web pages. Using ColdFusion custom debugging templates (first introduced in CFMX, but largely ignored by most), Ray Camden and Adam Podolnick have created ColdFire a ColdFusion extension to FireBug so that it can display ColdFusion debug output. Very cool stuff!

Well never really ignored the "debugging" but look what happens with a CSS site – especially under IE7 – arrgghhh!.
Thank god CFDUMP can be a tool also.

Peter, it’s not debugging itself that has been ignored, it’s the ability to customize debugging that indeed has. I first mentioned custom debugging possibilities at DevCon 2000 I believe, and few people have tinkered with the capability, despite the output limitations you refer to.
