hi ben, is the ‘ColdFusion/Flex Connectivity’ download Mystic?
Yep. Well, the first iteration of ‘Mystic’. The actual final deliverable (what it is, what is in it, etc.) is a work in progress. Right now we just wanted to get some bits out at the same time as the Flex 2 beta so tht folks could start playing.
Ben, is there a CF data service ‘adapter’ in the works for use with Flex Enterprise? I see there are Java and Hibernate versions in this beta.
Ian, not in this beta, it’s still being worked on.

Looking forward to pricing info for the Mystic upgrade. Wish I had waited to purchase the CF license (without subscription) I received last week… especially since the license is for a project that very likely won’t ship until after Mystic. Doh!
Anyway, haven’t a great time with the beta. Thanks!
What I’m interested in is knowing is if Mystic will solve the signficant need to be able to replicate complex objects in the session scope across a cluster (CFCs, queries, etc.)
Calvin, right now Mystic is concentrated on Flex integration functionality only.

Ben, I would like to second Calvin Ward’s comments. New functionality is great and Flex is the future, but ColdFusion’s standing in the enterprise suffers from the inability to replicate a session-based CFC across instances.
