This one is definitely worthy of a mention, Adobe uses ColdFusion on their public site. A quick search found two instances, a customer service page, and a secured exchange site, and I am sure there are more. This is definitely good to see!

Of course – for the life of me I can’t find a way to email them. They have support forms for their products, their store, etc, but I don’t see a way to report problems with their site.

Harry, some of the .cfm pages I found are about Acrobat 5, so I’d say they’ve been using it for a while.

One of the .cfm pages is dated 2001 and there are references in the HTML to 1999. So this is very old stuff.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some MM people have already started an unofficial project to redesign the entire site to CF driven content:) -

I’m 99% sure that the xchange site was originally a non Adobe website done by Joe Cheng (who actually interned at Allaire)… he sold it to Adobe in 2001:

PLEASE TELL ME THAT ADOBE WON’T KILL CF and DW.
I know they used it before but ADOBE is the natural enemy of Dreamweaver and even developing CF without DW is a nightmare! -

Well, at least DreamLive will have support for CF, one of the compelling reasons not to go for GoLive in the past. Adobe never had a server-side API in the past, so the future of ColdFusion is assured. The only thing I worry about is all that pandering to the print-publishing community, there will never be "wizards" between the two worlds and Adobe should stop touting that kind of nonsense.

Using CF with DW is a nightmare 🙂
Homesite is good, and you should consider CF Eclipse.
I know DW can be switched to code view and I’m assuming you spend 99% of your time there and run CF code on your dev server through your browser.
What this means is that Homesite or CF Eclipse are good enough for doing CF development. DW is just not needed.
I may be wrong here and it is personal preference, but DW is overkill for coding CF IMHO.
