Groove Networks Site Powered By ColdFusion

Home » Groove Networks Site Powered By ColdFusion

Ray Ozzie (best known as the creator of Lotus Notes) created Groove Networks to create software to simplify how groups work together, and Microsoft has announced plans to acquire Groove Networks. Several of you have written to tell me that the Groove Networks Web Site is powered by ColdFusion.

I wonder if they will rewrite the whole thing in .NET? 😉

Wasn’t there a section of an existing Microsoft site that was written in ColdFusion at one time??
    Or am I going nuts??
Seems to me it was posted on CF-Talk quite some time ago.

    Ben –
Can CFMX 7 (Blackstone) use Lotus Groove with its event gateway? Can this be done out of the box.

Groove has Web Services support, and also something called a Bridge (I don’t know what that is). As they do have hooks that can be used for integration I’d say that yes, CF should be able to interact with Groove.
