    Congratulations!
Is the Dreamweaver update/extension available as well?
    Cheers,

Oliver, yes. When you install CFMX7 an MXP file is installed that you run to install the Dreamweaver extensions.

it’s in the installer folder but i couldn’t find it linked from the getting started page (even though it does mention DWMX extensions) that it loads once CF7 has been installed

Silly question, one of the features being touted for CFMX7 was the addition of management tags for hosting companies to script addition of datasources, etc…Did this get pulled from the feature-set?

DS, you are referring to the Administration API, and yes it is in CFMX7.

Thanks, Ben — can I trouble you to point me at the right documentation set to look at for more details? Cheers!

    Hi Ben.
I was wondering are you or macromedia aware that when installing coldfusion 7 dev edition when you reach the configuration wizard that if you input a password for the server it keeps returning as invalid password also after i click on enter it adds extra characters.
also if i dont enter anything it keeps refreshing the page every 5-10 mins
Also if i decided to ignore the wizard and just open the administrator i get the same problem when trying to enter it.
i have contacted macromedia about this even when i was on the beta but as usual they dont provide support or really want to know.
i personally feel if you provide a developer edition meaning for the developers to use then whats the point if they cant use it due to these problems ? and whats the point of customer service if you cant contact them for help with this.
I just feel these 2 things need to be pointed out. Id love to try my developer edition but unless someone comes up with a fix to this one problem then i cant even start.
    Kind Regards
    A.Smith
