I’m not sure how long this one has been around, but I just ran across a nice little CF/Flash integration tutorial by Koosha Khajeh, a 17 year old Flash Developer. The tutorial entitled Creating a Client-Server Guest Book with Macromedia Flash and ColdFusion walks through building a CFC, creating a Flash UI, and binding all the bits together.

I dont think people are using "Guestbooks" for their real purpose, but I’m sure you can use the technique to develop other interesting applications.
