E*Trade Using ColdFusion

It is always good to know of high profile public facing ColdFusion sites, and this one fits the bill. E*Trade Financial is running ColdFusion (it appears to be CF5) at https://investor.etrade.com/investors.cfm. Thanks to James Simpson for alerting me to this one.

I’d put money down that Etrade is using http://www.shareholder.com/ to do their investor relations site, so while it’s true that an etrade site is running on ColdFusion, no one should get the perception that developers at ebay are using ColdFusion.
On a better note, it seems that shareholder.com has alot of big companies running on it’s ColdFusion platform, which you can see by doing this google search:
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&q=investor+relations+cfm&btnG=Search
Lowes, Home Depot, SCO (eww!), etc..

AJ, could very well be. But, if you ever end up having to defend CF to a CEO/CIO/CTO, these help (regardless of who actually wrote or hosts the app). 🙂
