I would love to use flash on our projects but 12 grand as starting pricing is too much for something that we could still do with some extra effort using Flash MX and CF.
ops… I mean use Flex!
What version of Flash file (swf) will Flex generate? Will we be able to specify which version we want it to generate? If we want everyone to be able to view it, then we would more likely to generate files for Flash Player 5.0. I notice that RoboDemo doesn’t allow us to specify which version we want. It’s sad because I created a demo for my boss to see so he would buy RoboDemo, but he wasn’t able to view it on his computer. I hope Flex has that capability.

Flex generates SWFs for Flash Player 7, see the FAQ at http://www.macromedia.com/software/flex/productinfo/faq/.
