My Newest Desktop Gadget: LED Binary Clock

I’m a gadget freak (as most of us are), and am particularly fond of anything pertaining to time, calendars, globes, planets, geophysics, construction gizmos, puzzles, and just about anything with cool LEDs (yeah, very specific, I know). My newest toy is an LED binary clock – a clock with six columns of LEDs (first two for the two digits in the hour, middle two for the two digits in the minute, and so on). Each column has 2, 3, or 4 LEDs of binary values 1, 2, 4, and 8. Not that useful as a clock, but oh so much fun to watch the expressions on the faces of people looking at it. http://www.thinkgeek.com/cubegoodies/lights/59e0/ 🙂

It the largest decimal clock in the world and and night you’re able to get the local time from all over the city by wachting the lights of the tower 😉

    Tjarko,
I like SQL t-shirt, but any self-respecting geek wouldn’t do a select asterisk.
