ColdFusion Studio won’t yet write your client-side scripting code for you, but a little known feature can definitely help you get started. Switch the Resource Tab to Tag Inspector mode, and then click on the tag for which you want to write code in the editor. Scroll down the Tag Inspector list to the Events section and select the desired event, and then click to the right of the event and select the code you’ll be writing – JavaScript or VBScript. Studio will prompt you for a function name (providing a default) and will then create a function shell and will also bind it to the appropriate tag. All you need to do then is write the actual script code. (Applies to: ColdFusion Studio 4.5 (or later))
