Lots of things have an impact on the performance of your applications, and the best way to monitor system performance (both in real-time and ongoing logging) is via ColdFusion’s integrated performance monitoring support. If you are running Windows NT and 2000 then the standard Performance Monitor (PerfMon) is used for this. If you are running ColdFusion on any of the supported Unix platforms (Solaris, Linux, HP/UX) then use the bundled “cfstat” utility which provides access to the same information (although minus the graphs). (Applies to: ColdFusion 4 (or later))
