New Packager for iPhone Released

Title says is all. The Packager for iPhone gives Flash developers a fast and efficient method to reuse existing code from ActionScript 3 projects to deliver native applications on iOS devices. Packager for iPhone is a feature of Flash Professional CS5 software, and a new version of the packager was just posted to Adobe Labs.

I know you probably can't say anything, but with the next version of Flex Builder, will this come as part of the deployment options?

Hi Adam,

We're actively working on plans to incorporate the packager for iOS in Flash Builder. I can't reveal specific details as to when this will be available, but rest-assured, it will be as soon as possible :)
