It features a contact management system to manage tens of thousands of contacts, and it ties into the Royal Mail database. The site is geographically aware and supports location and proximity based searches. The public can log in to manage their own data, all managed by integrated security. The entire system is built in ColdFusion. And they have announced that the application has been awarded an e-Government National Award from the British Government.
