Build A Cool Breeze App And Win $5K

The Breeze team has released the Breeze Meeting Sync SWF SDK to allow developers to create custom collaborative applications, using a set of easy-to-use ActionScript APIs. The SDK allows Flash developers to extend the functionality of Breeze Meeting by synchronizing Flash-based multi-user applications and content so that meeting attendees can collaborate on them in real-time. Developers can leverage this SDK to create interactive learning simulations, product demonstrations, sales ROI calculators, financial modeling, or interactive ice-breakers, to name a few examples, for use by general meeting organizers.

Have a cool application that could use the SDK? Here's your big chance! We've launched a new contest giving you the chance to build something cool using the SDK for a chance to win $5,000. There are four categories, and a winner will be chosen in each. Winners will be announced at MAX in October, and the contest is open to developers in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Brazil, Netherlands, and Japan. Full contest details are online.

To be honest I'm realy disappointed that developers from other countries (e.g. like me from Germany) are still ecluded form any contest, because of the law stuff. This was so on the Flex Derby Contest and is now on the Breeze Contest.

I agree, it is frustrating, but there not much we can do about it. The country list has been expanded this time, and hopefully they'll find a way to expand it even more in the future.
