KraftMaid Powered By ColdFusion

KraftMaid is one of the largest and most recognized brands of cabinetry for the home. KraftMaid products are sold by Lowe's and The Home Depot as well as 1600 independent deals here in the U.S., as well as in over a dozen other countries. I visited the KraftMaid site today (I needed to contact them for some warranty information) and was pleased to discover that the site is powered by ColdFusion MX.

Interesting. I found a bug on their web site, went to Contact Us, and they said to use their email address, but I couldn't find their email address. Do you have a contact email address for them?

Ah, I found a contact form. All is well. :) The real test is if they actually respond. Most companies don't when you report a bug.

Glad that they're using ColdFusion, but I noticed that they're depending on a query string variable called "navigationid". So, I tried feeding it a negative or non-numeric value, just to see what would happen.

Sure enough, it gives a generic CF error :(

Of course, this isn't ColdFusion's fault, but it makes me wonder if some other language evangelist would try to put the blame on CF.

Their fancy fading JavaScript for the navigation and image cycler doesn't work in Firefox (I'm using 1.5).
