MAX 2003 Salt Lake City, UT Tuesday, November 18, 2003 MAX, the conference formerly known as DevCon, this time in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah. Honestly, I don’t think any of us knew what to expect of Salk Lake City, and everyone I have spoken to only has great things to say about the place, the people, and the atmosphere. MAX was 3 days of technology, sessions, announcements, networking, and plenty of parties and hanging out too (yep, contrary to popular believe, there is plenty of booze in Salt Lake City). MAX 2004 was a great event, and one for the record books. Getting there, however, proved problematic. As the pictures show, we were stranded in Houston (yep, that is me trying to sleep on the floor), and to add insult to injury, my laptop burst into flames (that 5th picture is me in semi-panic mode).
